It's been a while since our last trip together into the mountains. I go to Estes Park for work with Reb Bull on Saturdays, but Megan has been occupied with work and other activities. Berthoud Pass is the alternative route over the Continental Divide which eventually will take you to Salt Lake City. It sits near 11,000 feet and thus is subject to some crazy weather. We we're fortunate enough to go on a day where the weather was calm.
Heading past Genesse Park looking at the Divide.
Nice bowl starting to fill in with snow.
Another bowl (or cirque)

An amazing trail that started at 11,400 feet and goes up over 12,000 feet. We finished up in Idaho Springs at Tommyknocker Brewery and Pub. Until next time~

Great pics and videos - Off trail reminds me of hikes Ray Ray took you and Joe on during our trips. If a sign said "Trail Closed" that did not include the Richardsons. LOL
ReplyDeleteWe Richardsons don't follow the rules~
